There are general traditions without which celebration of New year isn't obviously possible: noisy celebrations, fireworks, fires.Any holiday doesn't do without richly and brightly decorated fir-tree. In many countries the house is decorated with mistletoe bouquets. In Vietnam New year meet at night. When the darkness falls, Vietnamese light fires on streets, in gardens and parks. About them two gather or three families and prepare special delicacies from fig. On New Year's Eve forgive all offenses, forget all quarrels, after all this day is spent under the badge of friendship. All next day Vietnamese will see off with a family. They believe that the first person who has entered into the house in come year, marks something itself — happiness or sorrow. That is why this day people prefer to receive welcome guests.
