I was lucky that way.'However, while she always wanted to become a big music star and was able to make her dream come true Nelly still considers herself to be a very down-to-earth person.The 33-year-old pop star has a nine-year-old daughter Nevin — her child with former partner Jasper Gahunia — and she realises that family and happiness are the most important things in life.She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: 'True success is health and balance in one's life and making time for hobbies and family. It's the difference between seeing success as a destination and as aJourney. The idea that dreams come true and everything will be perfect? It doesn't work that way.'
