Deciding what to do after high school is one of the main decisions you will face in life. And it’s not one to rush into. Begin by asking yourself, “Do I need to just get a job, or do I need to continue my education to get a better job – and start building a long-term, successful career? ” In general terms, the higher your level of appropriate education, the more you can potentially earn in your career of choice. This holds true for career preparation from basic levels of diplomas, to an Associate degree level, to Bachelor’s or even advanced degrees.From the beginning of my childhood, my inspirational dream was to be a physician who could heal all the world's patients and share happiness. I was impressed by my uncle success, as he was one of the rare professional doctors in his town. But I knew that such a high thinking and achievable person cannot be possible without higher education. Through my past education years, they had improved me to be a great thinker, helped me to be a mature person, and it had developed a great sense of the applications around me. By continuing my education after high school: I could get more knowledge about the human body; I could develop career skills that they would help me to do my job easily; and also it would help me earn a PhD degree in medicine, so I could share my knowledge to the upcoming inspired students. Today, I feel that I cannot be more satisfied with my career than being part in alleviating someone's pains. Although, there is some successful individuals that didn't even finish college, like Bill Gates, and Jennifer Aniston, but that is simply rare. They had luck by their side and also had met the right people. As Shakespeare quotes "To climb steep hills requires a slow pace at first" I know that there is a long trip that I should go through first.
