The original members of the legendary band from Minsk consisted of guitarist and singer Vladimir Mulyavin, bassist Leonid Tyszka, flute and saxophone lover Vladislav Misevich and keyboardist Valery Yashkina. Moreover, a certain amount of time they were called "Lyavony." That all changed when the staff is filled with new talented musicians. In particular drummer Alexandria Demeshko, trumpeter and guitarist Valery Mulyavin, as well as an excellent singer Leonid Bortkevich. Who previously had worked in the ensemble "Golden Apples". At the time of renewal of the participants decided to update the name of the team. And so in 1969, came to light "Pesnyary". They began to actively advocate in his native Belarus, mainly performing familiar to all folk songs. Only in more modern arrangement. That, of course, the older people due more to rejection. Having achieved some success in the homeland, in 1970, the band decided to go to Moscow, to the fifth, "All-Union competition of performers." There they waited for a triumph.
