Examinations are essential at schools but do we need them? An exam is a fast way to check the pupils' knowledge which is important because lessons are sometimes not long enough to ask all the children in oral form.Moreover, the exams make the pupils be more responsible because they have to prepare at home so that they do not get a 'two'.On the other hand, the students may cheat. Also they may not be interested in the subject. As a result they will have no wish to learn and will fail the exam. To the point, that's the main reason why a lot of clever people fail their exams. Moreover, the exams are rather stressful.As for me, I'd prefer not to have exams because life will show if I was a good pupil or not.
